So, I return after several months of not doing anything; long story short, I was convinced to give hypnosis another go two nights ago. That same night, I was tranced through text, something I didn't even understand before that, nor thought was really possible. It rekindled the flame that died last summer.

So this afternoon, I decided to try out a file from the site, mostly for shits and giggles. The induction put me into a trance for sure, because once the body started, the first statement was one of those absolute statements, and because my subconscious immediately didn't believe it, I could literally feel the trance shatter.

From this experience however, I feel I have discovered what trance is for me hypnosis-wise. It's a state in which my mind is paying attention intently, and in which it is a lot easier to say, "Sure, why the hell not." :P
