It's so nice to be under 6 feet tall again. No matter where I went yesterday, I couldn't help but marvel at how much bigger everything seemed. Familiar buildings seemed to stretch farther, hills seemed more imposing, and the best part was that one of my friends actually noticed that I looked smaller, although he brushed it off as if he were growing rather than I shrinking. Last night, however, was a disappointment. Measuring myself multiple times yielded the same result: 72 inches. 6 Feet tall. I appeared to have lost (or gained, depending on your perspective) an entire inch of progress. Thankfully, measuring myself this morning yielded my beloved result of 71 inches.

As an experiment, today, I decided to stretch the tape measure back to my old height of 73 inches, just so I can visually compare my current height to how much I lost, and it was kind staggering! I had to look up to see the numbers.

I can't wait to keep shrinking! It really is a novel experience, and perhaps the ultimate achievable bodymod. I have a before picture that was taken yesterday which, unfortunately, is not me at my old height, and I can't wait to take an after picture when I reach 5'8, my goal height!
