Based on what you are saying, you paid with a credit card. The system clearly states that it may take a while to process as we have to run the cards by hand. Once your card has been run you will get an email with a download link for the file or you can check Your Account -> Your Purchases.

Every Patreon account needs a unique email address associated with it. I'm having them pay me via direct deposit and they do not have a problem with duplicate accounts.
