Not knowing what file you listened to I can not really say.

But... you seem to enter a nice state of hypnosis... so chances are that the file's effects are being put in place, yes.

And that, post-hypnotic amnesia, is typically a pretty good indication of a nice hypnotic state.

I have not used it on my own subconscious, but it is a very solid way to get someone into a deep trance.
