Is Tangy the guy who used to be adby? He's got the same kind of grammar, and from his file descriptions I'd guess the same level of coherency. But I can't really guess until I actually listen to his recordings.

A lot of EMG's older files used to have odd encoding glitches; they play fine in some players, but not others. I think its because the file headers declare the wrong frequency or something, though I can't quite remember now.

I posted the same thing a while ago ... didn't get much response.

The idea sounds really good, but I'm not going to pay that much for something that isn't exactly what I want.

A "deleted" status would be a good idea, I think, to hide the username from the big list of users, and replace their profile page with "This user has deleted their profile". Deleting an account altogether could be too problematic, as I suspect the forum would get confused by posts without a valid us...

I assumed that 'permanent' means the file doesn't have any conditions to explicitly make the effect end. Wearing off with time is pretty much a given. Though if you have suggestions about how quickly it will fade, that's probably "temporary (fixed time)"

I should point out that some people can be triggered by reading words, as well as hearing them. I know a few people who've complained about that problem with this one, so I should probably remind you that you're not supposed to post the actual trigger on these forums.

Just another random idea ... might be a little more motivation for folks who are submitting their files to the site. I suspect that a significant proportion of people signing up for premium membership are clicking on the button next to a premium file. So it might be worth offering some kind of credi...
