Curses files and permanent files

What is the difference between a curse file and a permanent file?
Is it just that curses are harder to remove or is it something else?
Moreover, is it stated on every file if it's permanent or curse? How can I tell if a file is from a script or from listening to it without any induction?

Generally speaking there is no difference between a curse and a permanent file other than the mental expectation that the curse will be more extreme. Both endeavor to make a change to the listener that is long term/permanent.

Both file types would lack any safeties. I think a well thought out curse would try to cover as many possible subconscious "outs" so all paths lead back to the files main intention.

Actually most of my files have safeties whether permanent or not, and the longest lasting files usually have the strongest safeties. To me a curse is a file designed to be addictive and hard to remove
