Hi all,
As the title says, hypnotic suggestions don't have an effect on me, even in trance. Only one hypnotic suggestion has ever really worked on me: the trigger "Nice, deep, comfortable trance." And that only worked because the room was spinning from sleep deprivation when I listened to its file.
I've been listening to files every night for two weeks. Please help :/

Hi. It would help to know what you're trying to accomplish, and which file(s) you are using.

While the fact that you're autistic could be relevant, it doesn't mean you can't be tranced and take suggestions. It may mean that the stock approaches to induction and suggestion would need to be tweaked, and that you probably need an expert real-life hypnotist to be able to see exactly what is happening in real-time.

So, a bit of an update, nearly one year later. I've learned not to mess around with hypnosis files. One second I'm thinking "oh these files aren't affecting me" next thing I know I'm out as transgender with a feminine name.
I suppose I was always at the very least curious. Still though, a warning to everyone else.

Hi, how constat where you while listening files?

A suggestion like "Nice, deep, comfortable trance" is not going to work on most people, because it doesn't have very much meaning. What does nice mean? What does deep feel like? Comfortable is nice, but how can someone go into "trance" if they don't know what that feels like?
It's the hypnotist's job to describe the feeling of gradually and incrementally going deeper into trance, and if they dont do that in some way (there are many ways), then it's not going to work on the average person.

if you where to suggest one of your files for a newbie or someone who is restarting into hypnosis what file or files you would recommend (I know it's better to have a session with a hypnotist but sometimes is no possible) Thanks...
