Is sleeping the same as a trance?
Posted: December 21st, 2007, 12:22 pmi can never get into the trance and i'm intrested in doing some of these things if i just plug my ipod up and go to sleep will it work?

Posted: December 21st, 2007, 5:11 pmIt's called sleep learning while your sleeping. It can work, but more as support for the files you listen to during the day. Then your subconscious might be able to call up past experiences with the files you've listened to.
The problem with sleep learning is that when your conscious mind is asleep your subconscious mind tends to only think in past and present tense(mainly present tense), so it tends to ignore suggestions that are in the future tense.
So you can use a line like "you are ______", but not "you will/are going to ______".
Most of the files here tend to use the future tense quite a bit.
Files that make you experience a scene or change while still in a hypnotic trance will not work while you sleep, but things like curses and training files might work while you sleep.
