I think you have unrealistic expectations from what hypnosis, and the mind, can actually achieve.

Simply saying that "the mind can perform miracles only limited by our minds" is NOT a true statement. While I believe the mind is greatly more powerful on a certain level than most of us realize, substantially altering physical matter is NOT one of it's capabilities.

You could however alter YOUR INDIVIDUAL "perception" of physical matter to be seen how you choose, but the world around will see little change.

EX(1): Placebo's in drug trials obviously WORK! Side by side with actual medicine. Hence the power of the mind at work. BUT, if I break my arm all the way through cleanly, no amount of hypnosis, meditation or belief is going to reset it and stabilize it so it can heal properly.

Now after it's set and pinned(most likely) I do believe that the mind can enhance the recovery from that point. Same as a healthy attitude lends itself to a better immune system.

EX(2): Now in your case you want to be a child again. That would mean you would need to change the actual maturing of your body physically. I don't know how old you are, but assume if you're posting here you are to be of the age requirement to participate, 18+.

Most of your "growth" has occurred by this point. So you'd have to lose mass and reshape almost all of you. That is unrealistic, for what I seem to think should be obvious reasons.

Now we get to the part about altering solely your perception of yourself. Is that possible, most definitely. Simply think to how people with say... anorexia cannot see how they ARE too thin and killing themselves, while EVERYONE around them tries to tell then otherwise.

Still, the world around you will not change much as to how they see you. But you might see the world differently.

Now that I think about it, in the end, maybe this is what holds you back.
Deep down inside your own subconscious realizes it's simply not possible. That would seem to make the most sense of it all.

As far as the religious aspects, yeah.... I'm not even going there ;)

take care,

My condolences that your questions are so impotent. Also, I'm sorry that your childhood was so bad, but uw is right. There is absolutely no possibility of hypnosis physically transforming you into a child. I agree that your subconscious likely realizes the physical impossibility of what you want.

I might suggest seeking out a professional psychiatrist/hypnotherapist to help you through your troubled past and get to a point where you can be a whole adult rather than continuing to try to use hypnosis to reverse time.

As far as overcoming religious ideals that have been taught to you, you could (a) consult a religious leader, or (b) take up introspection and make those judgments on your own. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs to a certain extent. Just because someone in your past told you that certain actions are punishable by an eternity in hell doesn't mean that it's necessarily true. That's something you have to decide for yourself.

My sincerest advice is that wmm probably isn't the best resource to solve the problems you're having. Instead of trying to use erotic hypnosis files to achieve what is literally impossible, you should seek professional counseling.

Good luck with overcoming your troubling past, and with your fear of secession.

.
here are some facts on time reversal just in case you may want to create a File

TIME AND SPACE
Time Reversal: A Simple Particle Could Reveal New Physics

Because a deuteron consists of two subatomic particles, it is not considered to be a particle by nuclear physicists. A deuteron technically is an atomic nucleus, or the core of an atom, but unlike more complex nuclei, the deuteron consists of just one positively charged particle called a proton and one neutral particle called a neutron. (Image courtesy of Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility)

A simple atomic nucleus could reveal properties associated with the mysterious phenomenon known as time reversal and lead to an explanation for one of the greatest mysteries of physics: the imbalance of matter and antimatter in the universe.

The physics world was rocked recently by the news that a class of subatomic particles known as neutrinos may have broken the speed of light.

Adding to the rash of new ideas, University of Arizona theoretical physicist Bira van Kolck recently proposed that experiments with another small particle called a deuteron could lead to an explanation for one of the most daunting puzzles physicists face: the imbalance of matter and antimatter in the universe.

A deuteron is a simple atomic nucleus, or the core of an atom. Its simplicity makes it one of the best objects for experiments in nuclear physics.

A property of the deuteron known as a magnetic quadrupole moment could reveal sources of a phenomenon known as time reversal violation, Van Kolck and his collaborators, including recently graduated UA doctoral student Emanuele Mereghetti, show in a recent paper published in Physical Review Letters.

Most of what physicists know about the universe can be described by what is called the standard model of particle physics. Developed by Van Kolck's former doctoral advisor, Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg, the standard model describes everything from Newton's laws of motion to the behavior of subatomic particles with what is known as quantum mechanics.

"This theory explains almost everything we know about the universe up to this point," said Van Kolck. "However," he added, "there is one problem that the standard model does not explain."

"Like the protons and neutrons - the particles making up the nucleus of an atom - every particle has what's called an antiparticle, things like antiprotons or antineutrons. The universe seems to have many more particles than antiparticles," said Van Kolck. "So there is a question of why the universe seems to have such an asymmetry between particles and antiparticles."

"The current indication is that the universe started from a very concentrated state, which some people call the Big Bang, and evolved from that. It would be appealing if we could show that the universe started with a balanced number of particles and antiparticles and that the fact that we observe more particles now can be explained in the process of evolution of the universe."

When things don't look balanced, physicists ask why. The explanation may lie in a rare violation of the phenomenon of time reversal.

Time reversal?

"Let's suppose you're playing billiards," said Van Kolck. "You have two balls and you knock them against each other on the table. Suppose you film this, but you play the movie in reverse. If you don't tell the person who is watching which version is forward and which is backward, the person wouldn't be able to tell."

Just as in the movie, time can be reversed in the equations that describe our world and the equations still balance.

For example, the maximum speed of your car is the miles it can cover per hour, or to a physicist, distance divided by time. If time is reversed so that it becomes a negative number, the equation still balances because the magnitudes of the speed and distance stay the same.

But wait a minute, you say. Time only goes one way: People get older, not younger.

"This is an apparent direction of time," said Van Kolck. "It has to do with the initial conditions. We can have laws of physics that work both ways and still give rise to phenomena that have a direction of time."

"Let me continue with this example of the billiard balls," said Van Kolck. "When you start a game there is a triangle of balls in the middle, and someone shoots a ball into this cluster causing all the balls to scatter. If you play that movie in reverse, most people would say that there was a direction of the original movie, because it would be very unlikely that you could start all the balls with the right velocity so that they collide, all of them stop in a triangle and one comes out."

"The reason why we perceive a preferred direction has to do with the fact that it is much easier to go from a simple initial state then from a very complicated state," said Van Kolck. So time can be reversed in physics equations without affecting the result, but the effects of time reversal remain unperceivable in our everyday lives.

"Until the 1960s, physicists thought that the laws of physics were exactly invariant in the transformation of time going to minus time," said Van Kolck. "Then it was discovered that there are some phenomena involving subatomic particles where there seems to be a very tiny violation of this symmetry."

In other words, if you made a movie of the billiard balls and played it in reverse, the backward version actually would be a little bit different from the forward version - like a "glitch in the matrix."

"It's like the process of some things happening in one direction versus the opposite one doesn't happen at the same rate," said Van Kolck. This phenomenon is known as time reversal violation.

When time reversal is violated, the equation doesn't balance out; your car doesn't go as fast on the way back. It is this imbalance that physicists believe may explain the unequal amounts of matter and antimatter in the universe.

Since physicists first started looking for sources of time reversal violation in subatomic particles, they have been measuring properties of particles known as electric dipole moments, or EDMs.

An EDM is generated by a property of subatomic particles known as spin. Spin can be visualized as a particle spinning around its center rather like the Earth rotates around its axis.

With time reversal, the spin would appear to reverse, like a movie of the particle played backward. But for the equations to balance, the EDM would have to equal zero. Any non-zero value would generate a different outcome of the equations - the backward version of the movie actually would be different from the forward version.

"Physicists have looked for EDMs of particles because if you measure one, you know that time reversal is violated," said Van Kolck. "We know that there is a tiny bit of time reversal violation in the standard model. But it doesn't seem sufficient to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry, because that violation of time reversal is very small. So we are looking for sources that would make other processes where we would see this phenomenon."

However: "Measuring the EDMs alone doesn't tell you a whole lot," said Van Kolck. "It tells you some, but what we show is that if you can measure another property of the deuteron, called the magnetic quadrupole moment, then you can tell a whole lot more about the mechanism."

"Like the electric dipole, the magnetic quadrupole violates time-reversal symmetry," said Van Kolck. He and his collaborators identified mechanisms of time reversal violation that correspond to different measurements of magnetic quadrupole moments for the deuteron.

"Nobody had pointed out before that this would be such an effective way to separate these mechanisms," said Van Kolck. "We are proposing that people try to measure the magnetic quadrupole moment to understand the source of time reversal violation."

Unveiling previously unknown sources of t-violation could lead to an explanation for one of the greatest questions physicists face: the reason for the imbalance of matter and antimatter in the universe.

Experiments with the deuteron would probe the same scales of energy as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, and could lead to completely new discoveries in physics, Van Kolck said: "It's a different way to look for physics beyond the standard model."

Van Kolck's research is funded by the Department of Energy. For this paper he collaborated with Emanuele Mereghetti of the UA and with J. de Vries and R.G.E. Timmermans of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Maybe sexual healing is what i need since i am none sexual anyway I'll start a pole and see what people think in the mean time here are some information on the subject

THE NEUROCHEMISTRY OF SEX

Orgasm is generally regarded as the ultimate goal of recreational sex. Wilhelm Reich was the first scientist to describe the nature and purpose of the orgasm as a discharge of excess bio-energy with the additional liberation of feeling energy, and he also recognized the negative consequences of blocked sexual energies.

Unfortunately, in addition to exciting peaks, orgasms tend to produce powerful negative side-effects that are only now becoming better understood. This is due to predictable trends in hormonal activity which seem to be similar in all mammals to ensure certain evolutionary objectives, especially the wide mixing of gene pools and the safe raising of offspring. This is achieved with the following neurochemical changes.

The main players are dopamine, the reward hormone; prolactin, the hormone of satiation; oxytocin, the cuddle hormone, and levels of androgen receptors, which all powerfully affect our mood, our desire for intimacy, our perception of our mate, as well as our susceptibility to addictive activities and substances. These hormones can also have different but generally related functions.

Additionally the stimulant phenylethylamine (PEA) is involved, which is also present in cocoa and chocolate and elevates energy, mood and attention. PEA is produced in greater amounts when one is in love; conversely a deficiency (common in manic-depressives) causes unhappy feelings.

When we first fall in love we become bonded by rising PEA, cytotoxic and dopamine levels When we are sexually aroused by close contact our dopamine level rises further and at the time of orgasm we have a dopamine brainstorm which one researcher compared to the effects of heroin on the brain. Dopamine is active in all addictions, even in people who have forgotten what sex is. Most of this activity is in the limbic system, the oldest part of the brain.

Well, at least we tried. If Tangy is going to ask for help and then say "No, you're just wrong," then we've done all we can do. Likely, there's no helping adby, I mean Tangy.

It appears to me that in opening yourself to this ideal, you've closed off everything else but the perception of this goal you're hoping to accomplish.

Human beings were meant to interact with each other, and closing off your mind is as equatable to closing the doors to reality.
No one should be left to dabble alone for days/months/years at a time, It will drive you to insanity.

Although I do think that there may be the possibility for some physical change via hypnosis, I think something as large scale and complex as age regression is not possible, at least not in a human life span. A better bet might be to try to live as long as possible in the hopes that something like nanotechnology will come through. You might also consider signing up for cryonics, since the technology to be revived will almost certainly be enough to accomplish major physical changes. Hypnosis may be able to do such things as help with skin conditions (even some it shouldn't be able to effect), shrink penises, and maybe grow breasts, but revert someone into a kid? There WAS someone on here before I got here who claimed Curse Pre-Pubessence was turning her back into a kid, but the evidence did not seem compelling. Evidence was never posted on this website, and she suddenly disappeared. I, who would like to find some way to be young again, have to remain skeptical.

Traveling back in time has even less evidence. I can't think of any cases where there has been any evidence that hypnosis can achieve time travel. Not even very shaky evidence. Although there is nothing in science to expressly forbid travel backward in time (on a sub-atomic level, it might even happen all the time), on a purely practical level, time travel seems at best highly unlikely. Creating time paradoxes is one argument against being about to go back. (Although creating a parallel universe might avoid a paradox, that sounds like a LOT of energy would be involved. Universe creating amounts.) You go back in time, change something which either eliminates the reason for going back in the first place and/or makes it IMPOSSIBLE to have gone back (say by accidentally erasing your own existence), and suddenly the trip back in times ceases to have happened, meaning that suddenly everything reverts to the original conditions, meaning you then DO go back, change things, eliminating the trip again, and so things go forever (since that also neatly stops the universe from going forward to the end its end.)

Even if travel back in time is achievable, you will want to be VERY careful with it! Trying to change the here and now is both more practical and safer. I would also recommend trying to make the best of what you can without relying on hypnosis to make extreme, physical changes. At least find a way to deal with great disappointment with the results. Hell, penis shrinking seems to be the most common success with physical changes, and a fair proportion of those it would seem are disappointed that their dicks didn't get even smaller! (Others seem shocked that anything happened at all, but I am talking about guys who actually WANTED change, at least consciously.)

Please, do NOT build up your hopes too high for the kinds of things you want, I fear that the technology/magic/or other means just aren't there! At least not yet. I am betting on nanotechnology (or, perhaps, the next stage after it, which I have just learned may actually exist outside of the realms of sheer speculation) to get there, and am, therefore, trying to figure out how to get myself frozen when I die-- since I also figure on something like thirty to fifty years for the science to mature.

You seem to have put yourself into a box, please try to think of a strategy outside of it.

"Why am i afraid of success seceding and completing my Gaol ? "

...well, if linguistic slips are a measure of anything:

success in "seceding" and completing your "gaol" would read as success in "removing yourself and completing your prison."

I can see having fear of such a result as totally normal.

From the rest of your OP I can perhaps say that the less than ideal (and therefore incomplete) childhood might be at the base of the desire for a "do-over"?

And perhaps some part of you realizes that reprogramming your current consciousness into a permanently infantile state would be tantamount to a secession from life, and entry into a gaol of your own device?

I'm drawn to the regression fantasy

Postby mondaytuesday » January 27th, 2013, 3:40 am

I use my interactions with the fun side of hypnosis to aid the fantasy and the fun and the fear and the thrill.

I have a strong imagination and have always enjoyed fantasy that can never exist in reality. I like it better there, in the make believe. Keeps it magical and thrilling.

I encounter all of this knowing that it is fantasy and that when the fantasy is fulfilled, it dissipates. If we are lucky, we can conjure it up again sometime.

No one is going to alter reality by strengthening fantasy through meditation and hypnosis. It does lower the inhibitions and increases the fun.

I'm thankful for what it is and am not delusional to what it is not. But I don't break character while the curtain is up.
