Looking for a fast animated gif program.

I saw a bunch of flashing gifs on tumblr that play like subviewer presets,
I want to make some, any one know how?

Actually, I'm looking for something of this sort myself as well - ideally something you can just load a series of images into and have them display in rapid succession. I could do it by putting all the images I need into video editing software, but that's cumbersome, slow, and the ensuing results would take up a lot of hardware space.

It'd probably also help if such a program supported other image formats, but I figure that would be trivial to ensure.

You might be able to with GIMP, which is sort of like a free version of Photoshop.

I don't know how to make them easily, but in my experience they work best when they are as fast as the display rate will allow (youtube reduces FPS I believe when you upload), have many in the same image, are explicit and masking them helps as well, f ex reverse letters, mirrored. The best ones were some youtube ones, but they were taken down and could easily have been improved. I think there is potential to make good ones, but most suck. To properly make them subliminal though, you need like 300 FPS, which I believe no monitor supports :(
