Need a good voice recording program

Can someone give me some information to find a good mp3 voice recording program? I haven't found a valid one yet.

Probably the best free one is Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)
Lots of options for layering and mixing, and MP3 export too - although I think you need the LAME codec for that?

I use Audacity. It works well for me and it is free.
