Appreciation for WMM

Postby Jackstock » May 26th, 2023, 4:47 pm

I have always seen WMM as a comfy place full of the wildest possibilities. The possibility to engage hypnotically with any fetish. With any goal you may have. The sky is the limit when we reach into the mind and do something wild with it. That's what WMM meant for me, and after all these years, it remains this way.
I wanted to expand the library with highly effective hypnosis files, and that's what I accomplished.
It has been ten years since I signed up, and WMM has taken me on an incredible journey with all of the people I have met. I must have made at least a hundred custom files just from viewers that first listened to my content on this site.

The censorship of the hypnosis content genre is growing like wildfire. All your favorite hypnosis vids and audios are disappearing from the internet, one by one. Sometimes in HUGE takedowns, like the demolition of Tumblr and Pornhub. And many more silent takedowns, like the ones you see on clip sites, where the words "hypnosis", "sleep",
and even "brainwash" are all banned, along with any content associated with it.

Personally I have lost loads of content posts on other websites, but never here. You should know that it is INCREDIBLE that WMM still stands today, uncensored, and supporting creators of hypnosis content.

Here's to hoping that WMM lives a long, healthy life.

Nothing to add except that I agree 100%. I really appreciate WMM and the free exchange of ideas, opinions, comments and files that happens here. Long may it continue!

Well, my plan is to keep it running as long as I can. I'm even working on contingency plans should the universe attempt to foil my plans to live an extremely long time. WMM in various forms has been around for 20+ years(started as a yahoo forum till they kicked me). I am currently working on the next version which will be a bit more mobile friendly.

Personally I think I'm good for at least 20 more years, but I am working on continuity beyond that.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Something that contributed to a number of pro-dom/mes leaving the market was when Mastercard and Visa got very antsy about chargebacks, particularly the idea that people would make a purchase while under hypnosis, and then, later, retract it. Instead of asking for a refund, they would issue a chargeback (complaint to the credit card carrier, which should only be done if the initial vendor refuses to help). They then put strict regulations on content on sites where their cards were accepted, relegating many pro's to a "high risk" category, where the credit card acceptance fees were on the order of 30%. Now, while there were many dom/mes able to make a living, having their gross income cut by 25% (and their net by a much bigger percentage) was enough to make them look for other work. Use of alternative payments, such as Amazon gift cards, was too awkward for customers, and lacked the anonymity of the commonly used Visa/Mastercard gift cards purchased with cash.

If a provider had a merchant account and used a single "forbidden" term, they could be fined relatively huge (5 figures) sums by the credit card companies, and their contracts left them no legal recourse, not even unconscionability.

This is what caused the situation that Jackstock describes. I've been with this group pretty much since the beginning, and EMG is one of the people I really trust.

I really hope this site remains strong. Yeah, I noticed how the hypnosis fetish is censored in many places. One example is Patreon, which banned an artist just because his drawing were strongly based on the hypno fetish.

I'm so glad someone created this thread, I actually nearly created a similar thread a few months ago.

This website is my most visited forum website, and is the most interesting hypnosis website on the internet hands down, and that's a fact.

You ever go on reddit, hypnosis, or erotichypnosis. In my opinion they suck. I'm a experience and knowledge gatherer. I love to see what limits hypnosis can push in the mind, and those subreddits are on a level or mediocrity. I have nothing against them or the people on there, nor do I claim I'm some expert in the field, but the experiences there are so meh to me. It's crazy how many people won't touch the subject or attack you for wrong think such as changing your sexuality to homosexuality or vice versa, let alone feminization. I nearly never post there on anything because it feels like half the people have an opinion without any experience on these matter, let alone disregarding other people's experiences on the weird and wonderful aspects of hypnosis, you could never link to the force gay thread without being berated by most people it's not even possible.

Someone once created a post there asking if turning gay was possible, and I did give a rare reply with my experience of changing my sexual tastes or gender to the opposite, and other than the many other people I was attacked by, one user was some trans woman hypnotist who has published studies on hypnosis apparently, saying how wrong I was and it's not possible, before he she blocked me straight away. Like wtf, you're a hypnotist, your a trans woman, you publish studies on hypnosis, but believe 100% it is impossible to change gender or make yourself homosexual through hypnosis, get the fuck out of here.

This is why I love this website 100%, EMG did it right when letting people express themselves, their experiences, and their opinions, and not censoring others. It is literally a wealth and goldmine of information on people pushing the limits of their minds with hypnosis, and no other site on the internet compares, WMM wins hands down.

The only people who far beyond knowledge on the limits of the mind and changing the subconscious, is probably the US military and CIA with their infinite budget and experiments. And that's something the average joe will never have access to in their lifetime.

So I'm so glad EMG has created this site and has a contingency for it too. And the fact he doesn't seem to be a dickhead himself, like a power mod with a huge ego censoring and banning arbitrarily; has allowed the website to grow with this wealth of knowledge and experiences as it is today. It's a goldmine in that aspect in my opinion.
No longer distributing my files.
