Questions about going into trance

Postby IWANTHOTDOG » September 27th, 2013, 10:44 am

1.Do you have to pay attention to the voice or is it ok if you just concentrate on your breathing the whole time, or let your mind wander?

2. Should you do what the voice says like (raise your left hand/blink really fast)?

Thanks!

Hello

in my opinion hypnosis never works like you wrote. hypnotic trance is always a state where you really relax and let go, simply where you let drift yourself down into a trance. for as long as you control yourself consciously, that's never a real deep trance, maybe the beginning, but never more.

as you decide to listen to a hypnotic file, you decide to give up control and to relax. in fact, hypnosis really works, but you must let go and want it to work. there are some hypnotic pattern, that helps you to trance. but finally you must lost yourself in the suggestions, what ever they may be. it isn't really important what is said and a well done file, is able to put you very deep, but only if you let go. the suggestions works by themselves and if they are well worded, you feel great results happen effortlessly, even if you think, that you are difficult to hypnotize.

People are as different as the files on this side, and everyone react different. if you are told to move your arm in hypnosis, then you do it, because it is a desire of you, but never a decision.

I disgree with Busenman.

Trance is simply a state of mind where your awareness goes down which results in suggestions getting easier inside.

Most common is relaxation, as it is also the most pleasant and easiest. But distraction, drugs, imbeded suggestions, metaphors and other possibilities work as well.

Many ways lead to rome.

It also might have to do with your personality. If your closed to stuff in general you might have difficulty. People who are very open usually go under the easiest. As well as repeated phrases during the trance to relax. Sometimes people just don't have as it easy at all.
