Fixation inductions with imagined objects?

Hello all!
I've been making some scripts and I've had an idea of a fixation induction. Near as I can tell from what I've read, fixation inductions can work with ideas as well as literal objects like a pendant or spiral. I would like to make an induction where the subject imagines the object in their mind and becomes totally fixated on it, with instructions on how their eyes are growing heavier in their imagination the more they look. Would this be effective?

Yes! When I was a kid, I would meditate by focusing on the details of a strawberry in my mind. The deep red color. The tiny indents. The tiny 'hairs'. The little surface seeds. The smell and taste. It was a very simple and neutral but complex enough object. The focus helped to sharpen my mind for a meditation session.
