problems in chat

sometimes when clicking on the chat icon there is the message about being restricted to registered members even though page shows correct membereship log in. sometimes can go into chat screen but sits there after two "undefined" somethin-or-other, and chat never loads. what is wrong? haw can it be fixed to allow chat? can go to other area in both cases just not chat.

It looks like Hypnonet's IRC server (where the chat room is hosted) is refusing all connections. The "undefined" message is because the chat program on this website doesn't have an appropriate error message for this, I think.

I suspect that all we can do about it is to wait for it to start working again.
