From the study of algebra we learn the reflexive property of equality...
    a = a
From the study of algebra, we learn the symmetric property of equality...
    If a = b then b = a
From the study of algebra we learn the transitive property of equality...
    If a = b and b = c, then a = c

This wisdom has withstood the test of time...
    - Thousands of years
    - Thousands of books
    - Millions of people
It's so simple, a child can understand it.

It's so easy, that it's boring.

And boring stories are just one way to relax.
    Boring stories = relax
When a someone decides to relax, it's unimportant whether they listen to a boring story. It's just as easy to relax while watching a boring show on television.
    Boring television = relax
And I don't know whether it's more relaxing when the boring television tells a boring story. You can decide that for yourself when the time is right.

You know what it's like to be half-asleep while the TV is on. It's okay for your eyes to be closed, because you can hear just fine.

And since it's boring, it's okay to half-listen. You can half-listen because you might hear something interesting. So while you wait for something interesting, and while it's boring like this, you just relax. You relax because it feels good and because you want to.
    relaxing = feels good
No one wanting anything. Lazy as you want to be. It feels good to relax
    relaxing = feels good

And isn't it interesting what algebra teaches us?

If boring stories = relax
And if relaxing = feels good
Then boring stories = feel good

And the next time you find yourself falling asleep with the television on, maybe you'll think about algebra.
    a = a
    If a = b then b = a
    If a = b and b = c, then a = c
