Dimmu-Borgir - Burn in Hell

It's a cover they did from Twisted Sister, the song is a lot of fun and is currently the most requested song on Sirius Hard Attack Channel 27.
I may be wrong....

Hey, Makidas! What's all this here myoozik I ain't never heard of?? But the rubbin' alcohol do sound good.... :)

I recently bought the last model of "drop" turntable that Panasonic made--about 25 years ago, but in very good condition. Plus a bunch of 33 rpm records. Now that this thread is here, I'll have to pull them out.

The slap of a paddle. Thwack!

The headboard banging insistently against the wall.

The deep moans of the neighbors.

They live in the house across the street.

Energetic couple.

Steve Earle, especially his two most recent live albums. He's the perfect background/mood music for a long piece I'm writing, and he's one of the few political musicians today who actually pays as much attention to the music as he does to the politics. It's just great, powerful stuff, and I say that as someone who actually disagrees with him on a lot of things.

Awwwwwww...

Seriously, I don't know how much "taste" has to do with it, though. How anyone who isn't deaf could avoid rockin' out to "A Girl Called Johnny," especially the live version, is beyond me. It pretty much lives on whatever Napster playlist I have going at any given moment.

Now, if only Napster would finally get Karl Wallinger and World Party online!

Say, WHAT? That's not permitted. It has recognizable lyrics (175 variations on the word "Please") and you can hear actual musical instruments in the background.

Sooooooooo yesterday!!

I bet you even have some of those things...you know...made out of paper, glued on one side. Maybe some of the real old-timey ones...without pictures on the front or anything. Just some words down the side.

I forget what they're called. :P People used to sit and hold them in their laps.

LOL, missypuss, "sell by" is much more straightforward UK English. Here, things are "best before... ." I guess that means the manufacturer or packager never admits to reponsibility; he merely informs you that the biscuits are better if you don't wait five years to eat them.

Currently, I am listening to claps of thunder and watching the lightning.

Depends what the item is. Some things have a "sell by", some have "use by", some have "best before". As I understand it, there are rules about which label to use based on how a product degrades. For example, if you leave chocolate in the cupboard for a year, the ingredients may separate out and it tastes weird, so they put a "best before" date on it. If you did the same with a packet of fresh meat, it would actually be dangerous to eat so they have to say "use by" instead. I think for things that just say "sell by", you are supposed to add on either 2 or 3 days to get a "use by" date, but I'm not too sure about that one. I notice that recently, a lot of supermarkets are marking food with both "sell by" and "use by" dates.
