Feeling canine

by Dogboy

Back…again. Having listened to Subliminal Canine for a bit and then stopping a few times I’ve been able to better identify how much my mindset changes. For many things, my thoughts drift to something completely different when I’m listening to Subliminal Canine then when I am not. For example, having not listened to the file for many weeks I would see a rabbit and think little about it. However, when listening to the file and I see a rabbit my thoughts immediately turn to things like chasing or hunting. Territory and dominance are all things that do not come to my normal mind. But when I listen to the Subliminal Canine file they come up often.

Really enjoying having the thought patterns and mannerisms of an animal I again started listening to the file. Armed with better knowledge of what the file does, and vowing to better document my changes for myself I’ve been listening to the file for several weeks now. (Though I have not listened to the file everyday of those weeks)

My first week I quickly reverted to the compulsions of letting my tongue hang out of my mouth and lifting my leg up to pee.

During my second week I started growling when I was angered or annoyed with something. All this stuff I try and generally succeed in avoiding to do in front of others.

During my third week I noticed changes in my thoughts. My mind started drifting off to thoughts about marking my territory and when I saw rabbits or squirrels I wanted to chase them. (Especially rabbits) I haven’t been able to even though one day I felt I really, really needed to chase those rabbits. When helping take care of a family member’s dog I felt he was challenging my dominance over him. No one was around and feeling canine, I got down eye level with him and stared him down. He at least seemed to get the message.

Other changes seem to improve previous ones. I was surprised at how realistic a growl I did once and lifting my leg to pee has pretty much become automatic. One morning I awoke and found myself curled up like a dog. Whether I slept like this or not, I do not know (I might have curled up automatically as awoke), but I do like to rest curled up like a dog, and I‘ve awoken to find myself curled up several times since.

I’ve seen other changes, but I plan on saving those for another entry.
