I have started listening to tapes and almost immediately joined a gym. Now I crave the gym and want more. Instead of counting I say to myself, I am muscle pig to replace 1234. Over and Over to reinforce that I am changing.

I think he means instead of say running and going 1,2,3,4 he's repeating the phrase. When exercising you count to keep rhythm.

ah i see , now tht all makes sense , but geez that's a lot of extra stuff to say , way to much effort id think >_>.....
